Welcome to my teaching website! I offer beginning piano and songwriting lessons, specializing in singer/songwriter and popular music styles.  If you’re an absolute beginner—regardless of your age—I would love to help you get started on your musical journey.

You begin by bringing in a list of your favorite artists and songs.  I select the most suitable songs for beginner level, and we start learning them immediately. No time wasted on music that doesn’t interest and inspire you.

Lessons take place at my location in the Oakland hills.
